Today started out to be like every other one, but little did I know that something really fun was going to happen…
I had a lunch schedule at work that went really slow. For some reason people did not want to spend 25 dollars for a plate of pasta, what’s up with that?!? So I spent 70% of the time in the kitchen eating bread with the cute bread girl. Don't get me wrong, I was there just for the bread.
Once in a while one of the managers came over asking me why I was eating bread and not on my, boring, empty station; I looked at him and answered “Why not?! It’s good” And offered a piece to him. He took it, ate it, and told me to finish up and later go back in the dining room. So after I finished my piece of bread, actually a few pieces of bread I returned back to my station. 5 minutes later I was back in the kitchen with bread girl.
3:30PM, End of my shift.
I went to look for my manager to clock me out and give me the server test so that I could do it. (I failed part one of three of the server test so I had to do that part again). He told me to wait near the clock machine because he was busy in that moment. Guess what?! The bread table is right next to the clock machine so while I was waiting I started eating bread again. I think I ate more bread than the guests I served it to.
4:27PM, I finally finished and passed the test this time.
After a long morning of hard work, 8 bread sticks, 21 pieces of normal bread and a server test, I was ready to take the bus home.
As I was walking to costuming I noticed in the distance my bus was at the bus stop picking up people. I did not want to wait for the next one in 30 minutes so I started running, but as I passed Norway and was entering costuming the bus had already left.
31 Minutes later, finally my bus arrived.
While I was riding back home I started thinking about my favorite TV show, Battlestar Galactica. I know I am a nerd. Don’t judge me.
Suddenly my attention turned to the back seat where three girls were talking. The only thing I under stood from one of them was “…Before I finish my program I would like to be wooed on the beach by an Italian…” In that split second, without hesitation I turned around and reached for that girls hand and told her “My name is Dimas, and I’m Italian”.
I think that was the best moment of my and her day I might add.
Her name is Gillian and she is from…Some where in the U.S. And after a long conversation about her life at Disney and where from Italy I come, we had arrived at Chatham where our roads would part. And as she was getting off the bus I gave my award winning Italian Salute “Ciao Bella”. Don’t judge me It’s an Italian tradition to be friendly.
The moral of this story is: Take the next bus.

It's late at night
So it's late at night, I have the server test tomorrow and I am really sleepy.
But I feel I'm not dedicating enough time to my blog. So I'm going to summarize what I've been up to in the last few days.
I was married to Alyssa for a day and met a boy name Tom from Wisconsin. His friends call him Bunny. Don't ask me why, I don't know or I forgot.
I rented a boat at the Grand Floridian, with Elly, and got a ticket for speeding in the No Wake Zone. I guess I am a pirate.
I ate 5 pancakes at IHOP...And it was sooo good.
I went on the Sky Coaster at Old Town. A 300FT fall, and if you pay attention you can see your life flashing before your eyes as you get closer to the ground.
A bought a radio alarm at Wall Mart
Good night
